Ballet

William got a part in the Royal Ballet performance of The Sleeping Beauty. It was more than a walk on part this time. The four boys had to actually dance with the big people this time and they all did very well indeed.

William was the Arabian Prince (junior) so without further ado, here are some photos.

(I made him take off the socks under his tights after this!)

The last image was taken during the technical rehearsal. Very impressive sets!!!!

Congratulations and well done to William. He has a very fine posture, and a great "body build" for dancing - I hope he continues to wherever he wants to be with his dancing.

William has my admiration and respect (I stopped ballet just short of going on point - to play the clarinet and saxophone instead!).

Sending huggles and care to you all with loud puRRRRumbles from Zebby, Michelle in Wellington

He wants to carry on for a fair bit yet - maybe even to professional level. I lost out about the same place as you and ended up a singer. Mind you, I have a hopeless shape for dance but love it just the same :) He got his shape from his dad along with a couple of things we could have done without. He got the summer teeth - some are here, some are there and several are missing altogether!
